From the beginning, the trading house drew its strength from the entrepreneurial courage and innovative creativity of the owner’s family. While the first generation traded in coal, the second generation shifted its emphasis to mineral oil. The third generation were pioneers in biodiesel and the fourth has its focus on electricity.

Although the company operates internationally, it is deeply rooted in the Main River region of Franconia. The region’s cosmopolitan atmosphere has attracted a remarkable number of prestigious companies to locate their headquarters here.
