In 1996, managing director Dieter Heisig, laid the foundation for an era at Josef C. Neckermann: He expanded into biodiesel fuel distribution, thus becoming a pioneer in and an example for the whole industry.

Today, the Company has a comprehensive and stable network of suppliers and reliably delivers biodiesel, plant oils and bio-ethanol, to wholesalers and end users.

Distributed are biodiesel and plant oils from rapeseed, soy and Jatropha. All are derived from certified sustainable cultivations.
